Health Technology Wales publish first ever Impact Report
We’re very happy to publish Health Technology Wales’ (HTW) first ever Impact Report.
Having recently celebrated our first anniversary on 27 November, HTW has reflected on the achievements we made in 2018 as we work to improve the quality of care in Wales.
We’ve drawn on the best available evidence and collaborated with partners across health, social care and the technology sectors to respond to the needs of service users and care providers.
Our engagement with UK and international organisations, evidence-based decision making and authoritative Guidance has enabled development and innovation throughout Wales.
Scroll down to see our Impact Report 2018 and a summary of achievements through our work on the identification, appraisal and adoption of non-medicine health technologies. This has included mechanical chest compression, corneal cross-linking, sacral nerve stimulation and FreeStyle Libre flash glucose monitoring.
