Summary

 

Health Technology Wales researchers searched for evidence on the clinical and cost effectiveness of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII or ‘insulin pumps’) for people with type 1 and gestational diabetes. HTW’s Assessment Group reviewed this topic as part of a prioritisation exercise in February 2020 and concluded not to progress this topic further. This topic may be revisited in future and its suitability for fuller assessment reconsidered.
