Health Technology Wales researchers searched for evidence on electrical stimulation to improve muscle strength and associated outcomes for people with chronic respiratory conditions, chronic heart failure and chronic kidney disease. The HTW Assessment Group decided not to progress this topic further due to a lack of evidence on clinical outcomes and quality of life.
