Summary

Hip fractures are the most common serious injury affecting adults over the age of 60 years. It has been proposed that the use of hip protectors may reduce the risk of hip fractures in adults.  Health Technology Wales researchers searched for evidence on the clinical and cost effectiveness of hip protectors for users at risk of falls.
